During the first five years of life children grow and develop more rapidly than at any other time, the skills and attitudes developed during these years will remain with them throughout their lives. At Winton House we provide a carefully planned and structured environment, full of opportunities for children to experiment and initiate their own learning activities, at their own pace. Each child is valued as an individual, high self esteem, respect for others, confidence and early independence are all encouraged. Above all, we aim for the children in our care to be happy and safe.
The children at Winton House are organised into small groups and have opportunity throughout each session to be active and to rest, to be indoors and outdoors, for large and small muscle movement, for staff and child initiated play and for small and large group activities.
